3D Draughtsperson

Brighouse

£20,000 to £30,000 Basic Salary + Holidays + Pension

Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4pm

3D Draughtsperson required for a rapidly growing manufacturer and construction company, who are recruiting due to sustained growth. The company offer the chance to work for a growing company in a varied role where your technical development will be supported and encouraged.

The successful candidate must have experience within a construction/civils background, and experience using ANY 3D design package. Candidates from an architectural background are encouraged to apply. The company use SolidWorks although full training can be provided if needed. Any experience designing building frame/structure is desirable but not essential. It is highly desirable that candidates have an understanding of building regulations and terminology.

In this role you will be working from architectural drawings to design steel frame structures for a wide variety of residential, commercial, and industrial building projects. You will be using SolidWorks primarily and will receive full training in this package if needed. You will work on a project by project basis as part of a Design team consisting of 3, also assisting with the creation of BOMs and installation manuals.

The company are a family owned, well established manufacturer of construction products. This is an interesting and varied role where you will be part of a recently formed Design team, performing a crucial function within the business.

The Role:

* Designing steel frame structures for residential, commercial and industrial properties
* Working to architectural drawings
* SolidWorks 3D modelling

The Candidate:

* Experience gained within a construction/civils background
* Experience using ANY 3D design package; full training can be provided on SolidWorks
* Ideally have an understanding/exposure to building regulations and terminology
