Stoke on Trent – North Midlands to North West Patch

£35,000 to £45,000 + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday + Overtime (Paid at a premium rate) + Van + Expenses

Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 16:30

CNC Service Engineer required for a family run and successful company in the Stoke on Trent area. They are looking for a motivated individual who wants to be part of a growing company who provide consistent training and are looking to expand there business rapidly over the next couple of years.

The ideal CNC Service Engineer will be apprentice trained mechanically and have strong experience in the servicing and repairing CNC machinery. The successful candidate will be able to fault find and diagnose machine tools. Some electrical skills are advantageous, but a strong background mechanically is what is required for the role. The role also suits candidates who are comfortable being in a primarily field-based role and be customer facing.

The role involves the service and repair of various CNC machinery. You will primarily be on the road covering a patch of North Midlands to North West of England visiting client sites and completing fault find and repair of the client’s machinery. Some of the work is electrical but most of this role is mechanical maintenance work. The role will entail mechanical work on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and machining principles. Some installation work will also be required. On average 20% of your time will be spent at the companies work shop working on repairs of the various CNC machinery on site.
