Circa £60,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Contributory Pension (8%) + Private Healthcare

08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday

Compliance Manager required for an industry leading fast paced manufacturer based in West Drayton. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience as a Compliance or Product Regulations Manager who have been responsible for ensuring products conform with standards to join a growing company who are recognised on an international scale.

To apply for this role you will have experience in a similar role but come from ANY manufacturing background such as plumbing, electrical, construction, food packaging, toys or healthcare products. You will ideally have experience working with raw materials and manufacturing techniques.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small team of certification engineers responsible for maintaining product certification and conformity with standards, guidelines and regulations. This will include, but will not be limited to, WRAS approval, EC1935/2004 and CE Marking. You will work closely with new products but also existing products which undergo material changes to ensure they conform.

Within the role you will be responsible for completing BOMs, arranging test samples and collecting raw material documentation from suppliers for product testing at external accredited labs. The main emphasis of this is to ensure that all product materials, and the method of manufacturing in place conforms with the required standards and regulations.

As the department manager, as well as managing the team you will also be responsible for managing the ongoing projects to ensure certifications are delivered on time and to budget which will involve direct liaison with suppliers and customers. The role involves limited travel but the successful candidate may be required to visit certification bodies across Europe though this would be very occasionally. Any issues that arise during audits will fall under your responsibility to resolve.
