Design Engineer (2D and 3D role)

Ollerton

£30,000 to £38,000 D.O.E + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Benefits

Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00

Varied Design Engineer role on offer (both2D & 3D) with an innovative business who offer unrivalled 3D CAD modelling training. You will be designing a range of the company’s metal based materials handling and processing equipment. The company use AutoCAD, Tekla and Inventor.



To apply for this role, you must have experience of using 2D AutoCAD and come from a mechanical design background working on hydraulics / pneumatics / rotating equipment / sheet metal work. Any 3D experience is beneficial as full 3D training will be provided. Candidates from a heavy engineering background will hold a considerable advantage. You must have experience working with metals e.g. mild steel / stainless steel / machinery.

You will use AutoCAD / Tekla / Inventor to create designs / details of structures within manufacturing environments including structural steelwork, conveyor systems, bespoke machinery, silos and vessels. The work will involve creating modified and new designs for clients who are either moving to a new premise or looking to install new equipment. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple different projects at one time.

The Design Engineer Role:

* Initial concept designs and re-modification work

* Using AutoCAD / Tekla / Inventor to create designs / details of structures within manufacturing environments e.g. structural steelwork, conveyor systems, bespoke machinery, silos and vessels

* Working multiple projects at any one time

The Design Engineer:

* Experience of using 2D AutoCAD in a mechanical design background working on hydraulics / pneumatics / rotating equipment / sheet metal work

* Experience working with metals e.g. mild steel / stainless steel / machinery

* Candidates from a heavy engineering background will hold a considerable advantage

* Prior experience with 3D Inventor is advantageous but not essential
