Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Up to £36,900 + Overtime + Free Parking + Contributory Pension Plan + Death in Service + 18th Edition
Days and Nights rotating shift pattern including 2 weekends in 5 over a 5-week rotational shift. 33 hours per week worked with 38 hours paid, 5 hours banked for shift cover.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer required for a market leading and very successful manufacturer. The company offer excellent training including 18th edition if required and offer a chance to work in fast paced and high tech environment.
The role will suit an electrical/multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background of single and three phase fault finding. Candidates must have basic mechanical knowledge and will assist the mechanical engineer on site when required. The right candidate can be from any manufacturing background. Candidates must be electrically qualified to Level 3. Ex-forces are also encouraged to apply.
The Maintenance Engineer role will consist of a 70/30 split of electrical to mechanical maintenance on manufacturing machinery. Electrically it will be work on single and three phase fault finding, whilst mechanically the work is mainly supporting the mechanical engineer on shift on basic mechanical work when required. The role will involve a combination of pre-planned and reactive maintenance. During times of the year when production is slowed or stopped you will also work on projects. Installation work on new machinery will also be required.
