Electronics Development Engineer (Testing)

Harlow – Office Based

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00, Friday 08:00 to 15:30

Electronics Development Engineer required by a highly successful manufacturing company located in Harlow who are truly market leaders in the world class technology they bring to their customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company who have recently moved into a new premises.

Candidates will need experience working in an electronics R&D team and will hold a degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or similar. You will need to be confident using electronic equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, signal generators etc. and experience conducting electrical design verification tests. Graduates (or equivalent) are also encouraged to apply.

Working within a small team, the Electronics Development Engineer will take full responsibility for all assigned test solutions and investigations to support the electronic design engineering team.

The Electronics Development Engineer Role:

· Collaborate with the electronics design engineers to provide technical support and ensure that products meet the required design specifications.

· Creating test strategies and test cases and responsible for producing test plans, procedures, and test reports

· Test on tolerances, stress calculations, temperature effects etc.

· Using electronic equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, signal generators etc.

· Design and automate tests for production and carry out warranty investigations

· Test and document circuit designs to ensure program objectives are met

The Electronics Development Engineer Candidate:

· Test development experience in a R&D environment

· Experience with electronics such as DC-DC converters, LED drivers, firmware etc.

· Hold a degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or similar

· Confident using electronic equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, signal generators etc.
