Field Service Engineer (Mobile/Mechanical/Mechanic/Technician)

Slough/Uxbridge/Watford Areas

40 Hours a Week Monday to Friday

£27,000 - £29,000 Base Salary + Overtime at Premium Rates + Bonus + Expensed Van (can be used for personal use) + Fuel Card + 6% Employer and 4% Employee Pension + Training Package + £20 Broadband Allowance Per Month

Field Service Engineer required for an international manufacturer and service provider of plant equipment offering fantastic training and support. The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of maintenance / service background including automotive technicians. You need to demonstrate some engine diagnostic skills along with some basic electrical skills. Those from a vehicle repair/plant background will be particularly suited.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of materials handling machinery and associated equipment on a field service basis. You’ll cover a local territory, no stay away is required and the call out is voluntary. The work involves engine and electrical diagnostic skills on a range of forklift trucks.

The role in brief:

*Carry out planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis

*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area, primarily Slough/Uxbridge/Watford and surrounding areas.

*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

*Voluntary call out (paid extra)

The Person required:

*Maintenance/service engineering skills and demonstrate engine diagnostic skills

*Hands on engineering background

*Engineering qualification
