Field Service Engineer (Forklifts)

Wolverhampton - Worcester (You will be covering WV and WR Postcodes)

40 Hours a Week Monday to Friday

£27,000 - £29,000 Starting Salary + Pay Reviews + Overtime at Premium Rates (OTE £35,000) + Bonus + Expensed Van (can be used for personal use) + Fuel Card + 6% Employer and 4% Employee Pension + Training Package

Field Service Engineer required for an international manufacturer and service provider of plant equipment offering fantastic training and support. The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be considered. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of materials handling machinery and associated equipment on a field service basis. You’ll cover a local territory, no stay away is required. There is a call out rota which is very friendly to a work-life balance and is paid extra.

The Role in Brief:

*Carry out planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis

*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area, primarily WR and WV and surrounding areas when required.

*Call out rota, paid extra

The Person Required:

*Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be considered

*Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills

*Engineering qualification
