Field Service Engineer (Mobile Mechanic/Automotive Technicians)

Crewe/Stoke on Trent Territory

£35,000 OTE (base of £27-29k)

Field Service Engineer position available in a highly successful and world leading materials handling manufacturer.

The company offer regular pay reviews, manufacturer training and career progression to senior engineering roles.

Automotive/Motor Trade Technicians looking to move into the industry will be suitable as training will be given. Those with a background in plant, forklifts, HGV, LGV, agricultural, construction equipment or similar will be very suited to the role.

You’ll be part of a team of Fiel Service Engineers, this role is home based covering Crewe and surrounding area. Full training and tools will be provided.


The Field Service Engineer role in brief:

*Service and repair or forklifts in and around Crewe

*Ensure all paperwork is completed and data entered correctly into the PC

*Order parts when required

*Liaise with other engineer and controllers to complete work schedule



To apply for the Field Service Engineer role you must have:

*NVQ level 2 or 3 in a relative subject – plant, mechanical, automotive etc

*Experience of engines and electrical diagnostics

*Experience in the workshop or service on forklifts, plant, HGV, LGV, automotive, access power, agriculture equipment etc

*IT literate

*Excellent customer facing skills
