Field Service Engineer (Forklifts)
40 Hours a Week Monday to Friday
£25,500 - £26,500 Starting Salary + Pay Reviews + Door to Door Travel + Overtime

Field Service Engineer required for an international manufacturer and service provider of plant equipment offering fantastic training. The role will particularly appeal to automotive technicians/mechanics looking to move into the forklift industry.
The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of automotive, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.
The company are a manufacturer and you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment around Lancaster. You’ll cover a local territory, no stay away is required.
The Role in Brief:
*Carry out planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical.
*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
*Local territory, no call out or overnight stays required
The Person Required:
*Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
*Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
*Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
