Field Service Engineer (Chemistry/Instrumental Analysis)

Field Service Engineer required for a successful producer of chemistry equipment used in a wide variety of industries. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading organisation offering comprehensive product training.
The role will suit applicants with a chemistry background, ideally holding a minimum of an HNC. Applicants don’t need to have an engineering background as training on this will be given, the key requirement is to show analytical skills within chemistry and comfortable working in a customer facing role. Training will primarily take place in Holland so applicants need to be willing to travel. The training will be around 8-10 weeks duration at the beginning.
You’ll join a small highly skilled team of engineers in the UK, forming part of larger worldwide team. Covering the UK, you’ll be responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, breakdown and provide training at customer sites. The role involves stay away on a regular basis which is fully expensed so candidates need to be willing to stay away in the week.

The person required:
*Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a chemistry/analytical based role
*Ideally hold an HNC or above
*Excellent communication and customer facing skills
*Willing to travel across the UK and stay away when required
