Field Service Engineer
South Brent – South UK
£27,000 to £35,000 DOE + Holidays + Pension + Company Vehicle + Phone (or preferably, additional pay to cover personal contract) + Tools + Training

Field Service Engineer required for a friendly company who specialise in servicing and repairing machinery for the food industry. To apply for this role you will be an experienced multiskilled engineer with experience of working on electrical control systems. You can come from ANY background as long as you have good experience and understanding of both electrical and mechanical principles. PLC experience is advantageous but NOT essential as training can be provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out regular servicing, breakdown repair and modifications on machinery for food manufacturing businesses in various sectors. You will work closely with electrical control systems, 3 phase electrics and electric motors. Mechanically, you will be expected to work with both hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes and bearings, though training on these can be provided.
You will be based from South Brent where the company has it’s workshop and you will mainly cover the greater Southwest though some further travel may be required. A company vehicle will be provided for the role which can also be used for personal use and NO over night stay away will be required at present.
