Finance Manager required for a well known manufacturer who produce high end, luxury FMCG products within a brand that is associated with quality. They offer a great work environment, a passionate workforce and a role where you can lead a small but well established team.
To apply for the role, you must be a qualified accountant with any of the internationally recognised professional bodies (CIMA (preferred), ACCA, MAAT AAT Level 4 etc). Applicants from a manufacturing background will transfer well, although this is NOT essential. The successful candidate will ideally have experience leading a team.
Reporting into the financial controller and leading a small team of 4 employees, the role will primarily involve overseeing the day to day operations of the finance department. You will be responsible for coordinating monthly group reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as presenting figures to the senior management team/budget holders. You will also manage statutory reporting including VAT and Corporation Tax. You will manage working capital and cash position of the business and ensure that all expenditure is approved in line with authorised limits.

*Will ideally transfer from a manufacturing background
*Will ideally have previous management experience, an ILM qualification would be ideal
*Must have an ability to manage own workload, workload of others and happy to communicate across all levels.
