Graduate Chemical Engineer
£12.33 to £15ph DOE + Increasing Holidays + Pension + Overtime (1.5x) + Training
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45, Friday 08:00 to 14:00
Graduate Chemical Engineer required for an industry leading surface engineering company who work closely with the aerospace industry. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technical engineer or a graduate looking to step into a technical engineering role to join a well established company who can offer long term career stability.
To apply for this role you will come from a chemical engineering background. Candidates from a chemical processing background will hold a considerable advantage however graduates with a chemical/manufacturing background are encouraged to apply as the company can provide further training.
The main focus of this role, which you will spend around 75% of your time doing, is to create ‘data cards’ which detail the process flow for each job on site to specific specifications and standards such as NADCAP and ISO9001. You will liaise closely with the company’s customers to manage and interpret their requirements which will then be passed along to the team.
The other 25% of your time will be spent working closely with the quality team where you will assist the team in carrying out audits, where required, and responding to Non Conformance Reports which may lead to changes to the ‘data cards’.
