Graduate Design Engineer (R&D)

Bristol

Up to £35,000 DOE + 29 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Health Insurance

Monday to Friday, 40 hours, Flexi.

Graduate Design Engineer required for an innovative manufacturing production development consultancy going through a period of growth. Offering a role where you will have creative freedom to develop new concepts across various OEM’s production process with opportunities to travel both nationally and internationally.

The successful Graduate Design Engineer will have strong 3D modelling experience and will be experienced using either Solidworks or Catia V5. You will ideally have some experience of developing/designing manufacturing process with an in depth understanding of production. Those from the Automotive or Aerospace industry will be at a significant advantage. You will need to display a flair for innovation and creative design. You will need to be a hands-on individual being part of a smaller specialist team. You will need to be able to handle confidential client information.

The Graduate Design Engineer:

*Using the latest design software (Training will be provided).
*Working across various innovative projects and liaising with clients on specifications/requirements.
*3D modelling of innovative/conceptual automated production lines.
*Some projects taking up to 5 years of development.
*Thinking outside the box and sharing ideas with the teams to create solutions and problem solve.
*Full cradle to grave project coordination.
*Preparing and delivering technical presentations to clients.

The Successful Graduate Design Engineer:
