Graduate Engineer (PLC, Automation)
£25,000 to £30,000 + Increasing Holidays + Contributory Pension + Training + Progression
Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30
Graduate Engineer required for an industry leading company who work with major manufacturers. To apply for this role you will have experience working with PLCs in an industrial or educational environment. You will have experience modifying and/or programming PLCs and candidates that have experience doing so from scratch will hold a considerable but this is NOT essential. You can have experience working with any PLC brand but Siemens experience is desirable although internal and external training can be provided.
The role itself is predominantly project focused on designing automation systems. Working on between one to five projects at a time, you will programme PLCs and design control systems for sensors and motors. You will be responsible for writing sequences, creating all relevant documentation and carrying out electrical wiring.
You will also be involved in the commissioning of equipment. 95% of this is done on site so little travel is expected however infrequent travel will be required. This is mainly around the Midlands area however the company do work nationwide. The successful candidate can use a company car for this or accept mileage payment.

* Designing automation systems – PLC programming and Control Panel Design

* Based predominantly around the Walsall area however some nationwide travel required
