HR Manager (Human Resources/ Manufacturing)
Monday to Friday
Circa £40,000 Base + Contributory Pension + 21 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
HR Manager required in a growing and developing manufacturer where you'll be responsible for all HR activities. This role is a generalist role encompassing all HR areas and will suit a commercially astute professional looking to join a company driven by improvements.
You will ideally be ideally CIPD qualified (level 5 or above) and have previous experience within a manufacturing environment. You will possess strong employment law, recruitment knowledge and experience of developing and delivering training programmes combined with a proactive and positive approach with a proven ability to get results. You must have strong influencing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships. Candidates with experience of TUPE and change management are highly desired as the company have previously acquired smaller businesses.
You will be based from the manufacturing head office, overseeing a HR advisor/administrator and looking after a site employing 250 people. As part of the ongoing developments, they need to recruit an individual who can lead from the front and is confident to implement change. You will have previous experience working with agencies, particularly in the hiring of temporary workers.
The company have two manufacturing sites in the UK and are the largest independent manufacturer of their product in the UK. Their products are primarily sold into the food, drink and packaging industries.
The HR Manager needed:
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Leading / managing change in organisations
* Talent Management, Learning & Development, Liaising with temporary agencies.
* Ideally CIPD qualified to level 5 or above.
