Hygiene Manager (Food)



Liverpool



Circa £29,000 + 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Career Development

Hygiene Manager required for an industry leading food manufacturer. This is a great opportunity for a hygiene professional with experience in the food industry to step into a role they can truly make their own. It would be an ideal opportunity for a hygiene team leader or supervisor looking to move up into a manager role.



To apply for this role you will have experience of working in factory hygiene environment with a food manufacturing background. You will have knowledge of BRC standard and retailer Codes of practice but no specific qualifications are necessary as its experience which is key for this role.



The successful candidate will be moving into a role which they can truly mould to make their own. Overseeing a team of three, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of hygiene across the factory and will be involved in making improvements across the site such as through the introduction of a new cleaning and hygiene schedules.



You will be responsible for ensuring all required chemical and consumable items are ordered and used efficiently to control costs. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you will also be involved in auditing the site to ensure standards are met and that the teams are fully trained on and applying the relevant hygiene procedures.
