Interim Quality Manager (Until March/April 2020)
£40,000 to £50,000 Pro Rata (DOE) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday
Interim Quality Manager required for an industry leading fast paced manufacturer based in West Drayton. This is a great opportunity for someone with quality experience looking for a step up into management or an experienced quality manager looking to join a reputable company who are recognised on an international scale.
To apply for this role you will have experience working within quality in ANY manufacturing background. You must hold some level of supervisory experience however this role would suit an experienced manager or a supervisor looking to step up. You will have experience working to ISO9001 quality standards and will ideally come from an injection moulding background but this is NOT essential.
The main emphasis of this role will be to maintain high levels of quality, in accordance to ISO9001 standards. You will be responsible for identifying any issues that may arise and ensure that early actions are taken to correct this before there is an adverse impact on product quality and provide input into deviation investigations and associated corrective action plans.
The successful candidate will be responsible for using structured problem solving and quality risk management tools such as 8D and FMEA and will be responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify sustainable solutions.
You will oversee a team of six quality engineers and will be based predominantly in the office where you will be responsible for generating technical reports documenting investigations and actions taken. The rest of your time will be spent in production where you will work closely with the production team to support process improvements as well as carrying out internal audits.
