Lead Electrical, Controls & Instrument Engineer required for an industry leading engineering company who provide services to industrial engineering sectors such as utilities, renewable energy, petrochemical, oil & gas and manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to join a company at an exciting time of expansion.
The successful candidate will be an experienced EC&I engineer but can come from any industrial background. You will need to hold a relevant qualification in an electrical / instrument disciple and will need experience working in a lead or senior engineering level role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specific bespoke
LV Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Systems, including gas detection systems at client sites. You can expect to oversee 2-3 engineers at a time and whilst the focus of the role will be to coordinate and mentor, you will be expected to be hands on where necessary.
The company are based in Winsford, and you can expect to spend up to 50% of your time here, however you will be spending at least 50% of your time travelling to customer sites so you must be comfortable with stay away (approximately two nights per fortnight).
Lead Electrical, Control & Instrument Engineer Role:
· Oversee the delivery of specific bespoke LV Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Systems
· Involved in install, commissioning, maintenance and client training
· Compilation of work reports and calibration certificates
· Comply with quality and H&S requirements
· Hands on where required
· Approx. 50:50 travel requirements
Lead Electrical, Control & Instrument Engineer Candidate:
· Experience working with low voltage electrical systems
· Knowledge of instrument control systems and loops
· Experience supervising teams
· Hold a qualification in a relevant electrical engineering or instrument subject
