Maintenance Electrician

Morley, Leeds

Circa £32,000 Per Annum (inclusive of shift allowance) + Overtime + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Matched Pension Contribution + Comprehensive Training + Potential Career Progression + Canteen Discount

40 Hours a Week – 6am to 2pm/2pm to 10.30pm (10pm Finish on a Friday)

Maintenance Electrician role available for a market leading and successful manufacturing company. This role will appeal to candidates looking to join a forward thinking with onsite training facilities, progressive company offering numerous training opportunities

To apply for the role, candidates from all electrical backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Candidates should ensure they have earned a minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). This role would also suit ex forces looking to transfer into a maintenance electrician’s role.

Day to day, the successful candidate will be performing a range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the company’s machinery. You’ll be attending breakdowns, removing faulty parts and then fitting new ones along with very occasional administration duties are key elements of this role. Working on saws, edge banding machines, drills and packing lines, you will be expected to work on all elements of electrical issues with a self-driven approach to work.

The Role:

*Attending break downs on saws, edge banding machines, drills and pack lines

*Maintain clean working area

*Liaise closely with management and other departments

*Shift - 1 week 6am to 2pm, week 2 2pm to 10pm (10pm Finish on a Friday)


The Person:

*Electrical maintenance skills

*Willing to work shifts

*NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, ideally electrical
