Maintenance Electrician
Up to Circa £32,000 + Regular Overtime (1.5x) + Increasing Holidays (Up to 25) + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training + Progression
DAYS based Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30, Friday 07:30 to 12:30
Maintenance electrician required for a heavy engineering company in the Buxton area. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer to join a growing company who can offer fantastic training and development opportunities such as PLC training.
To apply for this role you will be an electrically biased candidate from ANY background however candidates from a heavy industry will hold a considerable advantage. You must hold an electrical qualification. PLC experience is desirable but NOT essential. Ex-forces candidates are encouraged to apply.
The role is 100% electrical and you will work on equipment such as crushers, screeners, grinders and conveyors. You will predominantly carry out preventative maintenance, such as panel and relay checks however approximately 15% of your time will be spent carrying out reactive maintenance and installation work on exciting projects.
The company have plans to install a robotic plant within the next couple of months which is a project you could be expected to be a part of. The company also have further plans to bring in more automated equipment however they can provide both internal and external training on PLCs so experience is NOT essential.
