Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled)

Stoke-on-Trent

Circa £37,000 + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Significant Training and Development Opportunities + Overtime Paid at Premium

Hours of Work:
6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 7am to 3pm.

1 week of night shifts every 8 weeks.

Maintenance Engineering required for a growing and award winning manufacturer. The company have been recognised for their excellent training and development.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will either be a multi skilled mechanical or electrical engineer with proven competency with manufacturing/similar machinery. Those from manufacturing will be at a significant advantage. Any qualifications to support will be advantageous. You will need to be a quick thinker and be able to react on your feet.

The Maintenance Engineer:

*Electrically working on: 3 phase electrics, contactors, invertors, motors and PLC fault finding (only doing PLC fault finding if able to do so).
*Mechanically working on: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, gears, bearings, conveyors and furnaces. If you are competent there will be machining and welding aspects.
*Split of 60/40 between reactive breakdowns and PPM, although plans are in place to improve this.
*When completing PPM work logging this in the ‘Workmate’ maintenance record systems to document work properly.
*General domestic/facilities maintenance when required.

The Successful Maintenance Engineer:
