Flexible shift options – Permanent afternoons (2pm to 11pm) or rotating afternoons and nights (10pm to 7am)

Maintenance Engineer required for a market leading and niche manufacturer in Gloucestershire. You’ll be part of a small team in a varied role including improvements and project work.

The Maintenance Engineer role will be suited to electrically biased/multi skilled maintenance engineers with a strong background of single and three phase electrical fault finding. The correct candidate will also have previous working knowledge of PLCs. You will also have a good mechanical background with experience in basic mechanical maintenance, this is due to you being the only engineer on shift. To apply you can have previous experience in any manufacturing background.

The Maintenance Engineer role consists of a 70/30 split of electrical to mechanical maintenance of manufacturing machinery. Electrically the role consists of work on single and three phase fault finding as well as work on PLCs. The maintenance engineer role will only involve reactive maintenance 10% of the time, with the rest of your time being spent on pre-planned maintenance, project and continuous improvement work.
