42.5 Hours a week, 2 Shift System

Maintenance Engineer position available within an established manufacturer who are expanding rapidly and investing heavily new machinery. The company and are willing to train and develop the right candidate.

The role would suit an electrically biased engineer who has basic mechanical skills, you can come from ANY manufacturing background. Candidates who have experience working in FMCG environment are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be willing to work in a livestock processing environment.

The role will involve a combination of pre-planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance work. On the electrical side you will be working on single, three phase equipment up to 450V; you will also worked on electrical facilities where required. All the equipment is bespoke to the organisation and so will be trained on ALL the machinery on site. Mechanically you will be working on bearings, springs and conveyors. There will be call out rota involved of every third week on a Saturday.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

* Primarily electrical maintenance on manufacturing machinery
* Pre-planned and reactive maintenance
* 2 shift role – Week 1 – 5am to 2pm, Week 2 – 2pm to 12pm

The Person:

* Maintenance engineer with strong electrical skills
* Must have experience in a manufacturing background preferably FMCG
* Must be comfortable working in a livestock processing environment
