Maintenance Engineer

Yate, Bristol

£36,000 to £38,000 + Overtime (Paid at premium rates) + Pension + Training

3 shift cycle:
Week One: Monday, Tuesday 07:00 to 19:00 and Thursday 19:00 to 07:00 (2 Days, 1 night)
Week Two: Monday to Wednesday 19:00 to 07:00 (3 Nights)
Week Three: Wednesday to Friday 07:00 to 19:00 (3 Days)

Maintenance Engineer available for those looking for a varied role with a shift pattern offering a great work life balance.

The maintenance Role will suit candidates from any background with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience. Ideally candidate will have manufacturing experience, but candidates from other backgrounds including ex forces are encouraged to apply. You will need to be confident with 3 phase electrical maintenance, formal courses/training can be provided for candidate who do not hold an electrical qualification.

The Maintenance Engineer role will involve electrical and mechanical maintenance of various production machinery including printing, converting, cutting, and gluing machinery. You will work on 3 phase electrics, motors, drives, controllers, gears, conveyors, PLC (fault finding). You will work in a small team and will work independently and as part of a team. You will work on a mixture of PPM’s and reactive maintenance and you will have optional overtime on weekend paid at premium rates.

The Role:
* Mechanical and Electrical maintenance of production machinery
* PPM’s and reactive maintenance
* Days and nights on a 3 shift cycle with overtime available on weekends

The Candidate:

* Mechanically or electrically trained, but experience with both aspects
* Comfortable working days and nights on the above shift cycle
