Maintenance Engineer

Witham, Essex

Days Based Role – Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:30

Maintenance Engineer required for an industry leading processing company located in Witham. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a days-based role within a friendly team.

This role would suit a mechanically biased engineer or fitter with a proven background within maintenance. You will need experience working in a production or manufacturing environment and candidates from any industry are encouraged to apply.

Reporting into the company’s Maintenance Manager, this is a factory-based role where the successful candidate will work alongside three other engineers. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the company’s facility and processing equipment, which is largely mechanical, but will involve working with basic electrics.

The company does require their engineers are part of a rotating callout rota.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

· Maintenance of facility and processing equipment
· Reactive maintenance and following PPM schedules
· Create and keep accurate records of servicing an repair
· Part of a call out rota (approx. 1 in 4 weeks)

The Maintenance Engineer Candidate:

· Ideally mechanically biased
· Any manufacturing / production / processing background
