Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias
Week 1, Monday to Friday: 6am to 3pm
Week 2, Sunday to Thursday: 9pm to 6am
£31,898.81 + Call out 1 in 3 + Contributory Pension + Company Sick Pay
Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer required for a local, well established manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to work in a small team that can offer dedicated training on their machinery.
The successful candidate will come from ANY electrical engineering background. Those from manufacturing, production, industrial electrical engineers and ex forces engineers will all be transferable. You will have experience working with 3 phase and wiring and have experience of planned and reactive maintenance.
Working alongside a team of engineers, under the leadership of the Maintenance Team Leaders and Manager, you'll enjoy troubleshooting and testing equipment, controls and software, whilst repairing mechanical, pneumatic and electromechanical machinery. Day to day, this will involve undertaking a variety of preventative and reactive maintenance duties, as well as identifying solutions that will improve systems efficiency and reduce costs.

* 80% electrical/ 20% mechanical work.
The Maintenance Engineer:
* Comes from ANY electrical engineering background.
* Has experience working with 3 phase and wiring.
* Basic understanding of PLCs.
