Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)


£39,971 + 20 Days Holiday + Pension + Overtime Paid at Premium Rates

4 on 4 off (2 Days, 2 nights, 4 off) You will never work a Saturday night, and any shift that falls on Saturday will only ever be 8 hours maximum.

Maintenance Engineer required for a leading and growing food based company who can offer an excellent salary and unique continental shift where you will not work Saturday nights and 8 hours Saturday day shift as a norm!

The Maintenance Engineer role will suit candidates who are confident with both electrical and mechanical maintenance. You will work in a team, but will need to be confident working independently as well. You will need to be comfortable working rotating days and nights shift pattern. Candidates who are mechanically biased/trained, but have strong electrical experience and candidates from forces or industrial backgrounds with strong electrical experience are encouraged to apply.

The company work across 3 sites in the same location, one of which is a purpose built production site completed earlier this year. You will work across all 3 sites.

The Maintenance role will be working on production machinery and will involve working on manual and automated machinery. You will work on conveyors, mixers, ovens, pumps, motors, drives, PLC’s (fault finding), flow wrappers and associated production equipment/machinery. You will work on all electrical and mechanical aspects including fault finding on PLC’s.

The Role:

* Electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery
* 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off), with Saturday night off and Saturday day shift 8 hours normally.

The Candidates:

* Experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance
* Comfortable on a rotating days and nights shit pattern
