DAYS BASED!! Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30, with a one in three on call rota.

Maintenance Engineer required for leading manufacturing company who can offer a very competitive package and the opportunity to receive maintenance planning training within a rapidly growing company.

The Maintenance Engineer role will suit candidates from any production/manufacturing background who have electrical and mechanical experience. Candidates from outside of Production/Manufacturing with strong electrical and mechanical experience are still encouraged to apply. Ideally you will be electrically biased, however mechanically biased engineers with good electrical experience are encouraged to apply. You will need to be organised and happy to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to have a basic understanding of PLC’s or equivalent control systems.

The Maintenance Engineer will work with motors, conveyors, gears, bearings, gears, 3 phase electrics, PLC’s. You will work within a growing team and reporting directly to the engineering manager. The maintenance split is currently 80% reactive and 20% PPM, however they are looking to move the split towards a PPM bias. They would ideally like candidates to have a strong PPM background, to help through the company’s transition. Although this is primarily a hands on role, you will receive training on planned maintenance implementation.

The Maintenance Engineer role will be DAYS BASED with an on call rota. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company and develop with and within an excellent company.

* Ideally from a Production/Manufacturing background, however other backgrounds are encouraged to apply
* Confident working independently and part of a team to contribute to PPM work and schedules (full training on planned maintenance implementation given).
