Oakham, Leicester

£28,000 + £32,000 DOE + Overtime Opportunities + Holidays + Bank Holidays

DOUBLE DAYS SHIFT. 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 Rotating

Maintenance Technician required for a well established manufacturer who offer a stable position and who truly value their staff. They offer a friendly and supportive work environment and take great pride in the quality of their products.

The role would suit an electrically biased technician/engineer. Applicants can transfer from ANY manufacturing or industrial/installation background but must be confident with 3 phase electrics. The successful candidate will also have sound mechanical skills. Applicants from heavy backgrounds will have a considerable advantage.

The role will involve an even split of reactive and pre-planned maintenance on production machinery. Continuous improvement and project work is actively encouraged. General facilities maintenance will also be required. You will work on a range of plastic injection moulding machinery, experience of this is advantageous but training will be provided.

The Role:

*50% Reactive Maintenance

*50% Pre-planned Maintenance

*General facilities maintenance when needed

*70% Electrical & 30% Mechanical

*Continuous Improvement work is encouraged

*Double Days Shift. 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 rotating

The Person:

*Electrically biased technician/engineer with sound mechanical skills
