Management Accountant (Manufacturing)

Mold – Office Based

Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 14:00

Management Accountant required for a leading manufacturer based in Mold. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where you will play a truly integral member of the team.

Candidates will need experience in a similar role and must come from a manufacturing background. You will be part qualified (ACCA / CIMA / equivalent) as a minimum and will have experience of producing management accounts.

Reporting directly into the company’s Finance Director, you will play a lead role within a team of two, where you will be responsible for producing accurate monthly management accounts and will present this to the directors. This is a site-based role as you will work collaboratively with the various internal departments to obtain data and work to suggest cost efficient ideas and improvements.

The Management Accountant Role:

· Production of monthly management accounts
· Month end processes, journals, pre-payments, accruals, and reconciliation of the balance sheet
· Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
· Investigate process costs and variances

· Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
· Product costing, standard costing and variance analysis – recommending corrective measures where required

The Management Accountant Candidate:

· Experience in a similar role
· Must come from manufacturing – any industry
· Part qualified ACCA / CIMA / equivalent as a minimum
