£45,000 to £50,000 DOE + 22 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays + 4% Contributory Pension + Further Career Development

Manufacturing Manager required for a market leading company who have doubled in size over the last four years and have plans to continue expanding. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager or Project Manager to join a company who have exciting plans to widen their product range across Europe and can offer potential career development for the right person.



To apply for this role you will be an experienced Manufacturing Manager or Project Manager from any manufacturing background. Candidates from a metal works or automotive background will hold a considerable advantage, however, it is the process improvement experience which is key for this role so candidates from other backgrounds are welcome to apply.



The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all of the day to day production of both standard and bespoke products across their manufacturing site which will involve overseeing 5-6 direct reports and up to 60 indirect reports.



The emphasis of the role will be responsible for making sure all processes are being carried out as efficiently as possible, looking at how equipment, materials and labour are utilised. You will aim to decrease costs and waste as much as possible whilst focusing on making sure company and customer quality and H&S standards are met.



The company are in the process of moving into a brand new site and so the successful candidate will play a key role in setting up the new factory. This will involve getting involved in designing the layout of the factory, to ensure the layout works in the most efficient way possible, and approaching suppliers in relation to purchasing new machinery.
