38.75 Hours per Week Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00, Friday 08:00 to 15:30

Manufacturing Supervisor required by a highly successful manufacturing company who are market leaders and have recently moved into new premises. The company are offering technical training and the chance to learn new skills.

Working within the company’s paint-shop and metalising department, this role would suit an experienced supervisor / manager / team leader with experience working in any manufacturing or production background. You will need a general knowledge of continuous improvements and lean manufacturing.

The successful Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee a growing team of eight. It will be your responsibility to ensure operations run efficiently, smoothly, and follows H&S standards. This is a largely hands on role and training can be provided.

The Manufacturing Supervisor Role:

· Oversee an existing & growing team of eight
· Manage and plan the day-to-day operations to ensure the departments run efficiently, including the development of KPIs
· Focal point for all communications for the paint shop, metalising and hardcoating with other departments
· Coordinate and lead quality inspections on painted parts and metal castings, and investigate root-cause of any defects
· Basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery
· 1:1 meetings and appraisals with employees
· Recruitment of new operators

The Manufacturing Supervisor Role:

· Supervisory / equivalent management experience is essential
· Any production or manufacturing background
