Mechanical Technician (Workshop Engineer)
Week 1 M-F 7am to 3.30pm and Week 2 M-F 1.30pm to 10.00pm
39 Hours a Week
£34,282 + Van + Overtime at Premium Rates + Attendance Allowance + 6% Employer and 4% Employee Pension + Training Package + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Mechanical Technician required for international manufacturer and service provider of plant equipment offering fantastic training and support.
The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be very suitable. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.
You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts. You’ll be based at one particular client’s site in Tamworth.

The role in brief:
*Carry out PPM and reactive work on materials handling machinery at one site based in Tamworth
*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
*Order all spares/parts.
*Complete all paperwork
The Person required:
*Maintenance/service engineering skills on Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
*Engineering qualification, ideally level 3 or equivalent
