Operations Manager (Pharma/ProjectsCustomer liaison)

Swindon

£60,000 to £70,000, can be further negotiable DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Generous Pension Scheme + Life Assurance 4 x Salary + Medical Care

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Some flexibility required).

Operations Manager required for a multinational world leader in their industry. The organisation is continuously expanding, there is the opportunity for the remit of the role to grow in line with the organisation’s growth. The role offers a fantastic package and great opportunities to develop.

The successful Operations Manager will have previous hands on experience from a production background within a scientific, medical, pharmaceutical or chemical industries, preferably from a CMO/CDMO background. You have previous experience of liaising with customers to be able to full understand their expectations for briefs. You will need a strong commercial acumen and will be an effective and detailed communicator. Those with a degree or equivalent in Business Management, hold a relevant technical qualification and/or Prince 2 will be at a significant advantage.

This role would suit those with a background such as a Technical Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Project Manager, with similar responsibilities closely relating to client liaison managing contract manufacturing.

The Operations Manager Role:

*Responsible for client relationship and experience management.
*Serving as the manager of BMs, representing the clients’ interests, whilst maximising the sites financial position.
*Ensuring that all client briefs, issues and communications are handled properly, and liaise with the appropriate departments to ensure projects are timely and accurate.
*Ensuring the business management team following the process outlined.
*Ensure the correct assessment of overall costs of new or existing projects.
*Directing the project managers and ensure that all projects between the site and clients are executed to plan.
*Financial and forecast management.
*Understanding and following in the organisations Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.

The Successful Operations Manager:
