Principal Process Engineer (Electronics)

Aberystwyth

Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per Week

Principal Process Engineer with an electronics background required for a market leading engineering company who are at the forefront of technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an employee owned and focused company who are pioneering within biotechnology and are working to support the introduction of viral vaccines at a critical time.

The successful candidate will hold an electronics background and will have experience in product and process validation and verification. You will understand electronic principles and have experience assembling and soldering electronic products. You can come from ANY manufacturing background however candidates however experience with programming and/or working with IJM parts would be advantageous. Knowledge of medical devices would be beneficial but NOT essential.

Reporting into the R&D Manager, the successful Principal Process Engineer will be involved in streamlining and CI within existing production lines as well as being involved with the release of new products. You will carry out process validation and verification on both new and existing products and will be responsible for supporting the creation of documentation such as operating procedures, qualification documents, qc etc.

Working to IS09001 and 13485 standards, you will hold accountability for the progression of new products and work with the NPD team to advise on the design of manufacture to esnure it's suitable for mass production. You will design suitable jigs, tools and equipment. In addition, you will work closely with the quality department and the software team throughout the process.
