£28,000 to £30,000 + 20 days holiday + Bank holidays + Pension

Days role Monday to Friday


Production Team Leader required for a successful family owned business with multiple sites across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to play a key role in the growth of the site. This is a great chance to become a key member of the team contributing towards improvements.

The successful candidate can be from any manufacturing/production background. Those with working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement techniques will be suited. It is essential you feel confident managing a team of 15 on the shop floor, planning production and minimising downtime.

The role itself is primarily shop floor based, you will oversee production and ensure automated lines are running at maximum efficiency, ensuring KPI’s and production targets are hit. As a production supervisor you will maximize labour efficiency and ensure quality and health and safety standards are maintained at all times. You will work within a high volume manufacturing environment and look to add value and suggest improvements wherever possible.

The company are expanding rapidly and are adding further structure to their team in Barry, this is a brilliant opportunity where you will receive extensive training and exposure to multiple disciplines whilst progressing quickly within the business.

The Role:

*Managing production and ensuring lines are running at maximum efficiency.

*Working within fast paced manufacturing environment, 75% shop floor & 25% office based.

*Implementing lean and continuous improvement wherever possible.

*Maintain quality, health and safety standards.

The Person:

*Experienced production team leader with excellent management skills.

*Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

*Demonstrate being part of improvements.
