DAYS based role – 3 Shift: Week 1, 06:00 to 14:30, Week 2, 13:30 to 20:00, Week 3, 08:00/09:00 to 16:00/17:00

Production Technician with an interest in quality assurance required for a well known food manufacturer based in Bristol. This is a great opportunity to join a continuously expanding company who are well known for their impressive rate of staff retention due to the huge amount of investment they make in their staff.

To apply for this role you will be an experienced production or QA technician or someone with experience in food production. Candidates from a QA role in a food manufacturing environment will hold a considerable advantage. The company can provide full role training as well as providing external training courses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for both maintaining and improving quality standards across the site whilst working to HACCP standards. You will spend two out of three weeks based in the factory where you will be based on the production floor. You will be responsible for carrying out internal audits and carrying out visual checks as well as sampling for external lab checks.

The other week in three will be spent based in the labarotary/warehouse. Here you will be repsonible for checking the quality of all raw materials. Laboratory experience is not essential as you will focus on carrying out visual and sensory checks. You will be required to complete inspection reports.

*Food Safety Level 2 is desirable but NOT essential as the company can support external training
