Quality Manager required for a highly successful and continuously expanding manufacturer. The company offer a varied role and a great working environment.
The Quality Manager role will suit a candidate with previous experience of working to AS9100 standards at some point during there career. The role will suit a candidate from any manufacturing background who is very systems orientated. A large part of the role is working to and improving the current QMS in place at the business so previous experience in this is essential. Previous people management experience is not required to apply for the role.
The Quality Manager role will involve ensuring quality systems the business currently have in place are being adhered to as well as updating and improving these procedures to ensure the quality department of the business is kept to the highest standard. You will be working to AS9100 standards and have a team of 2 Quality Inspectors beneath you. The role requires basic supervisory work and is more focused on hands on quality work. The role will involve making sure the company is fully prepared for all internal audits as well as occasionally travelling to suppliers to complete external audits.
