Quality Manager required for an industry leading fast paced manufacturer. This is a great opportunity for a Quality Manager looking for a documentation focused role. This leading manufacturing company work largely, but not exclusively, with the aerospace and motorsport industry.
To apply for this role you will have experience of working as a Quality Manager within a manufacturing environment. You can come from ANY manufacturing background but MUST have an awareness of the AS9100 quality standard. Candidates from a CNC machining background will hold an advantage.
The successful candidate will be predominantly office based and will be responsible in making sure that products are delivered to customer expectations and quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO9001. The role is heavily focused on documentation and will involve the maintaining and developing the QMS as well as looking to continuously improve processes.
The company manufacture bespoke products so you will play a key part in liaising with customers to understand their requirements and ensure all documentation is put together for NPI and that they are in accordance with quality standards.
You will be responsible for using structured problem solving and quality risk management tools such as 8D to carry out root cause analysis and will be responsible for generating technical reports documenting investigations and actions taken.
As the Quality Manager, you will have the additional responsibility of managing four to five quality inspectors. Inspection is predominantly carried out by the team, however, you will likely spend around 10% of your time on the shop floor and can get involved in this if required.
