Sales Engineer required for well established, family SME organisation who provide bespoke, tailored solutions to their clients. As a business they are looking to branch into a brand new sector, expand their current customer base and grow the company. (increase market share by working within numerous new industrial sectors)
The successful candidate needs to feel confident establishing a new client based and attending face to face meetings. Applicants needs to have experience selling technical/engineering products. Those from HVAC or building services backgrounds will be at an advantage but not essential as a desire and hunger to learn is key.
The role itself covers the whole of the UK, you have control over your own diary and be accountable scheduling your own appointments; this will incur stay away where required. As the company design and create bespoke solutions, full product training will be given. To learn the applications you will benefit from a full product induction and have the opportunity to work with the onsite installation (service and operations team both on site and in house).
As a company they are looking to break expand and develop on current contracts in the industrial market, some examples are manufacturing, construction, FMCG, pharmaceutical and facilities management. There is an existing CRM system in place, you will be accountable for cold calling, establishing new clientele not known to the business and organising face to face visits. The company boasts an extremely technical team who will support you with visits and inquiries where necessary. As a Sales Engineer you will consult with customers to understand their needs, negotiate costs and ensure profit margins are achieved.
