Up to £45,000 + 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday + Pension

Day based role, 40 Hours a week.


Senior Maintenance Engineer required for a forward-thinking and innovative company in a growth stage. This is a new and exciting opportunity for a mechanical maintenance engineer looking for a role where you can be a key player in the business and progress your career.

The successful candidate will come from any maintenance background, ideally from a manufacturing/industrial background. The role will particularly suit engineers looking. The role is at a new chemical processing facility and the successful engineer will be the first recruit. Those will particularly appeal to engineers looking for a role with autonomy and progression. The role will also appeal to engineers looking for a step up into a stand-alone role and oversee the maintenance for a novel technology plant.

The role is based at a new site, at present you’ll be the only engineer with further recruitment planned to build a team. The successful engineer will be involved in this along with the senior leadership team. Reporting in to the Principle Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the plant. You’ll be rectifying faults and assist in the implementation of a PPM schedule. Improvements, installation and commissioning will all form part of this role. You’ll also work closely with processing and production to ensure optimum performance.

This is an exciting and varied role within a well-established, forward thinking company who will provide in house training on their bespoke equipment and continuously looking grow and expand.

* Experience in mechanical maintenance

* Relevant engineering qualification
* Want to take responsibility and work without supervision
