London

£35,000 to £40,000 DOE + Holidays + Pension + Career Development

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

Senior Workshop Manager required for an industry leading manufacturer based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Manager to join a growing and developing company, who specialise in fabricating products for cultural institutions, where they can use their experience to help drive the company forward.

The successful candidate will come from ANY manufacturing/production background and will have proven managerial experience. Candidates with fabrication experience and/or any health and safety qualification will hold an advantage but this is NOT essential.

The successful Senior Workshop Manager will report into the company’s Head of Production and help ensure all project deadlines are met for multiple, simultaneous projects through coordinating the day to day activities of the workshop and achieving KPI targets. You will oversee seven permanent staff members, including junior management, as well as up to 10 freelance staff and will play a key role in developing the team.

The company has already achieved ISO9001 accreditation but you will also be responsible for supporting the company’s Fabrication Manager in ensuring that quality standards are constantly met by implementing a full quality system. Similarly, health and safety will be a key part of your role however you will be given the support of an external source but implementing this into daily practice will be a key part of this role.
