Southampton – Southern Territory

Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 16.00 and 07.30 to 14:00 on Friday

Circa £26,000 to £34,000 per annum + 21 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Van

Service Engineer required for a growing and successful service/maintenance company. This is a great opportunity for an engineer to work on a number of contracts with a wide variety of OEM machinery.

The successful candidate will be an experienced maintenance/ service engineer with experience working with diesel/ gas generators and diesel engines. You will be mechanically biased however any electrical knowledge is highly desired but not essential. Mechanically you will also need experience of hydraulics systems, valves and mobile plant maintenance.

Your role will be to service, repair and overhaul a variety of Diesel and Gas generators and engines in marine and commercial environments covering brands such as Cummins, Doosan, Jenbacher and more. You will report into the Southampton workshop daily to be allocated your work and service a Southern patch although flexibility will be required to work larger projects further afield. The bulk of your work will be completed within core working hours however flexibility is required for some stay away planned in advance.

The company are specialists in their field, running service and repair contracts for a large number of OEM brands of engines and generators. You will join a team of 5 other service engineers in a small but growing company.

The Role:

* Service and repair of diesel and gas generators
* Servicing Medium & high speed diesel engines.
* Engine Component Overhauls.
* Covering a predominantly Southern Patch.
* Reporting into Southampton site daily to collect van.

The Service Engineer:

* Mechanically biased marine/ maintenance engineer.
* Experience of Diesel/ gas engines.
* Flexibility with working hours required.
