Bordon, Hampshire

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 with an early finish on Fridays, there will be roughly 10 overseas trips a year

£25,000 to £30,000 (OTE £35,000 to £40,000) + Overtime + Manufacturer training + Holiday + Pension + Laptop + Phone + Company Credit Card

A Service Engineer is required for a very successful manufacturing company who provide products to a global market and can offer excellent training, development within a growing team.

The Service Engineer role will suit candidates from ANY technical background who have good electrical (3 phase and single phase installation) experience. Candidates from sites based roles, military backgrounds and commercial electrical backgrounds are encouraged to apply, because full manufacturing training will be provided. Training will take palace abroad and you will need to be able to travel internationally as soon as you start.

The Service Engineer will need to be computer literate, hold a driving licence, and be confident with 3 phase and single phase installations. The Service Engineer will also need to be comfortable travelling internally and overseas to carry out installations, maintenance work and product training. The successful candidate will need to be confident working at large manufacturing sites and small independent companies. You will also need to be confident working within a small team of 3 as well as individually.

The role will be 50% office based liaising with the overseas manufacturing site, ordering spares, consumable, planning service schedule. 50% service will consists of installation of new machines, annual service to existing clients and a small amount of reactive breakdown repair. The servicing will be mostly electrical but mechanical knowledge will be beneficial to assist in taking machines apart to service, clean and maintain. There will be around 10 overseas trips a year to distributors and clients to carry out installation and training. All overseas work is fully expensed and booked well in advance.
