Service Manager (Commercial / Technical)

London or Surrounding areas

£45,000 to £55,000 (Further negotiation possible DOE) + Annual Bonus up to 12.5% of Salary + 23 Days Holiday (Can be carried over) + Bank Holidays + 5% Match Pension + Life Assurance and Health Assurance Available + Company Discounts Scheme + Company Car + Laptop + Mobile Phone

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Working from the office at least once per week, the other 4 days can work from home.

Service Manager required for a rapidly growing business, who are part of a part of a larger internationally known OEM. This is a role with a scope for growth, development and a degree of autonomy, within a personable environment.

The successful Service Manager will have experience as a Field Service Manager within ANY technical background. You will have experience of managing a team of engineers/technicians, those with experience of managing 3rd Party Contractors as well will be at an advantage. You will be commercially aware, being able to suggest new ideas to support business growth and improvements. You will be confident with your use of Excel and be able to interpret data from this.

The Service Manager Role:

* Full management responsibility over the field engineers offering support, training, reviews and recruiting of new team members.
* Managing currently a team of 8 Field Engineers (growing team) and a 3rd Party Provider.
* Ensuring SOPs are being followed by the team including H&S and making improvements upon this where necessary.
* Mostly office and home based, with occasional requirements to attend meetings externally.
* A strong focus on continuous improvement throughout the business.

The Successful Service Manager:
