Site Engineer (Calibration)

Congleton – UK Wide

Circa £24,000 + 31 Days Holiday + Extensive Training + Van (Can be used for Personal use) + Phone + 5% Contributory Pension + Workwear + Full Training and Development opportunities


38.5 Hours per week, early finish on a Friday.

Site Engineer role available in a growing organisation that design and manufacture medical equipment. The company are extremely employee focused, offer full product training and the opportunity to work within a friendly team. This is a great opportunity for a graduate (or equivalent) or an experienced engineer looking to join a reputable company with an impressive 25 year history.

To apply for this role you can come from any background as full training can be provided. Any calibration experience or a degree in an engineering related subject, or equivalent.


The successful engineer will carry out calibration work to laboratory monitoring systems and software, used largely within the NHS and life science organisations. Calibration and validation to medical devices will be the primary focus of this role, such as undertaking annual re-calibrations, limit testing, sensor validation etc. You will also carry out routine service and emergency service where required.

You will work closely alongside senior members of the team until trained and fully competent on all equipment. Long-term work will vary between team and lone working. The role covers the entirety of the UK meaning you may stay away on average 2 to 3 nights a week. The company’s head office is based in Congleton which you will be based from and depending on client site location, will also work directly from home.

The Site Engineer role:

* Travel to client locations to carry out calibration within quoted timescales and budgets on medical monitoring equipment
* Maintain health and safety standards
* Stay away up to 2/3 evenings a week
* Full training on offer

The Site Engineer:

* Calibration background, engineering graduate, or equivalent
* You will be able to use basic PC software such as Outlook and Excel
