UK Based – Cambridge or Remote Working Available

Technical Sales Engineer required for a truly market leading supplier of high-performance components used within a vast range of electronic products. Extensive training can be offered within this role and this is a great opportunity to join a company with an outstanding global reputation as they continue to grow.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold a degree (or equivalent) in electronics engineering or similar and will need sales experience. However, the company can offer extensive training for the right candidate. It is essential that the successful candidate holds written and spoken communication skills in both the English language and Spanish language as this role will focus on sales with customers based in Spain and you will need to communicate technical details.

Reporting into the Sales Director for European Distribution, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out regular communication and meetings with the company’s customers and distributors based in Spain. You will carry out market research to understand industry competition to drive demand and maximise pipelines and increase design win count and revenue. You will focus on developing sales with existing customers however can expect to follow up new business leads when required also.

The role will be based in the UK however the successful candidate can expect to spend anywhere up to 75% of their time travelling abroad. This will involve travel to Spain but you can expect to travel to the USA as well as other locations also. The company will cover all travel expenses.
