Workshop Manager (Mechanical)
£30,000 to £35,000 DOE + Company Pension + Wellness Programmes
Workshop Manager required for a well established manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Manager, or someone with a mechanical production background with some leadership experience, looking to step into their first management role.
To apply for the role you will hold a mechanical fitting/assembly background, ideally with experience within construction or agricultural plant and machinery. You will need leadership experience for this position.
This is a hands on Workshop Manager role where you will be responsible for overseeing the workshop. You will oversee the assembly of plant machinery and ensure this is done so as efficiently as possible through the integration of lean ideology (such as 6S methods) and the implementation of continuous improvements. This will focus on areas such as build, cost, quality and delivery.
The Workshop Manager will be involved on projects such as the introduction of new products and product modification and enhancement.
